Frequently Asked Questions
-
I don’t just help you cope with anxiety—I help you understand why it’s happening. Many of my clients are capable, thoughtful people who have spent years pushing through discomfort and holding it all together. In our work, we slow things down, focus on your nervous system, and gently address the patterns that keep anxiety and self-doubt stuck. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and practical—so therapy feels both supportive and meaningful, not overwhelming or endless.
-
The first session is about getting to know you and helping you feel comfortable—there’s no pressure to share everything right away. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping therapy can help with. I’ll ask questions to understand your experiences and begin identifying patterns, while also making space for anything you need in the moment. Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved and clearer about next steps.
-
We typically begin with weekly sessions, especially when anxiety or stress feels overwhelming. I ask my clients to start out meeting with me 4 weeks in a row so that you can have a strong start. Over time, session frequency can be adjusted to match your goals, capacity, and progress. We’ll regularly check in to make sure the pace feels supportive—not too much or too little.
-
The length of therapy depends on your goals and what you’d like to work on. Some clients come for short-term support, while others choose longer-term or trauma-focused work. We’ll regularly check in so therapy feels intentional and supportive.

I work with women struggling with anxiety, overthinking, trauma, and feeling “not enough,” especially high-functioning individuals who look okay on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. I work with women from all different backgrounds and I incorporate faith-based therapy for those who are interested

I charge $150/per 50 min session. I am an in-network provider. I accept most insurances. Here is a list of insurances I accept.
If your insurance is not listed, I use Thrizer to help me look up your benefits and see how much your insurance will cover for services.
-
Yes! You are welcome to use your out-of-network insurance benefits
I can submit out-of-network claims on your behalf through Thrizer or provide a monthly superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance company. Many PPO plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network services. Superbills include service details, billing codes, and my license information.
-
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement—often 60–80% of the session cost after your deductible is met. I’m happy to walk you through this and help verify your benefits during a free intro call. If you’d rather check on your own, you can contact your insurance provider directly using the Member Services number on the back of your insurance card.
-
Out-of-network benefits are often easier to use than people expect. You have two ways to move forward:
I partner with Thrizer, a service that submits claims to your insurance company for a small fee. After meeting your deductible, you can choose to pay the full session fee and receive reimbursement by direct deposit, or pay only your co-insurance while Thrizer covers the remainder while waiting for reimbursement.
If you’d rather manage insurance on your own, I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance company. In this case, sessions are paid in full at the time of your appointment.
We can talk through these options together on an intro call and find what works best for you.
-
I offer a limited number of sliding-scale openings. If you’re unable to afford the full fee, please feel free to contact me to inquire about availability. If a sliding-scale spot isn’t available, I’m happy to provide referrals to other trusted providers.
