Hi, I’m Kelsey Mudge.
I work with young adult women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves — even when life looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the clients I work with are high-achievers, thoughtful, and tired of holding everything together on their own.
My approach to therapy is warm and collaborative I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and process experiences that may still be affecting them beneath the surface.
My Approach
I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm, and I integrate EMDR with trauma-informed and relational therapy approaches. I pay close attention to the nervous system and work at a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about helping you feel more connected, regulated, and confident in yourself over time.
Education & Training
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#155151) in the state of California.
In addition to my formal education, I have pursued specialized training in EMDR and trauma-informed care, allowing me to support clients in processing experiences that continue to impact their emotional well-being.
Professional Experience
My clinical experience includes working in a range of settings, including non-profits, transitional living centers, schools, group practice, and substance use treatment programs. Through these experiences, I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions.
These settings shaped my belief in providing thoughtful, individualized care that goes beyond surface-level coping strategies.
What it’s like working with me
Clients often describe me as thoughtful, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I value honesty and creating a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out before showing up.
Whether we are working through anxiety, processing past experiences, or building greater self-trust, my goal is to help you feel supported and empowered both inside and outside of sessions.
