Process Group for Therapists-in Training
A 10-Week Therapy Group for Graduate Students
Facilitated by Kelsey Mudge, LMFT
A Space to Be Human While Becoming a Therapist
Therapists-in-training carry a unique emotional load. You’re learning how to sit with clients’ pain while also navigating your own challenges. You likely have a busy schedule that makes it difficult to have a space to breathe.
This weekly process group is designed exclusively for graduate students and practicum trainees who want a space to process and grow.
What Is a Process Group?
A process group is a therapy group where members learn about themselves through interactions with others. Rather than focusing on a specific topic, the group centers on:
Your reactions
Your emotions
Your relational patterns
Your experience within the group
How these impact your identity as a developing therapist
This Group Helps You:
Develop greater self-awareness
Understand your emotional reactions and the patterns that show up in your relationships.
Increase confidence in managing difficult emotions
Receive and give supportive feedback

This group is ideal if you are:
A graduate student in counseling, psychology, or social work
