About Kelsey Mudge
Hello, I am here to support you! If you're a woman ready to break free from the control of anxiety, alcohol, or other substances, you've found the right place!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #155151) in the state of California with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University.
I have experience supporting clients through various challenges such as substance abuse, addiction, anxiety, and depression. I have worked in residential treatment, schools, Christian-based programs, and non-profit settings. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, and I integrate techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Faith-Based Therapy.
I am also a Christian and I can help clients grow in their faith during the therapy process if they want to incorporate their faith. I use evidence-based modalities in session, while also exploring the client’s faith and integrating it into the work.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and implement this modality with individuals who are interested in processing trauma. I believe in fostering a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I follow the ethical guidelines set by CAMFT and am committed to culturally responsive and affirming care.
